Hi, waffles, today I will be writing about the term’s last task, which is creating a technology-enhanced project. It was the easiest task of the term because me and my friend, Zeynep, just turned an activity in a book into the technology. Students were supposed to create a biography about their favourite celebrity in the book. As we want to enhance the activity with technology, firstly, we wanted students to visit a website to get information about their favourite celebrity. Then, they are supposed to create a podcast about what they learnt in light of some podcast examples. We chose Anchor as a website to create the podcast because it is both easy to use and free. After creating, they need to share their product in their google drive, which a file storage in which students can store all of their projects securely. We chose google drive since we wanted them not to lose on the internet.
This project will engage students to learn 21th century skills as they won't be traditional homework doers. They will learn to get benefit from the internet and produce some things by using them. I will definitely integrate my future classes with the internet!
